Virtual Learning Center

Learn to identify the birds that are most likely to come to your backyard feeder. We will have resources available and a checklist of some of the most common backyard birds so you can keep track of what you see and send it to the Nature Center via email. We will then post our cumulative data for the month of December and January along with any photos, or drawings from you.

Nicole Neigel will cover basic ID tips, common backyard species with ID and fun facts, the science and specifics and etiquette of bird feeding, and how to build backyard habitat/how to attract birds to your yard.
